We Are The Champions!

We won the Women's Basketball Championships!

It was an upsetting loss for the other team because they won all their games during the eliminations and semis. Then we beat them during the finals! It was their first loss, ever!

[Lagot ako 'pag nabasa 'to ng kabilang team. Tsk tsk.]

Anyways, some highlights of the action (ang galing ng team mates ko sobra!):

According to our Coach Lowy, in a post-game analysis email:

you'll see that we average 22.5 points per game, and liderazgo averages 20.5... ano score kagabi?... 24-18... we were able to do our average while sila hindi... it only means na defense ang nagpapanalo satin kagabi!!!!... waahoooooooooo!!!...

So everybody contributed to this game, to this win, to this CHAMPIONSHIP!!! This is the first time I've played for a team that won a CHAMPIONSHIP pa ha! Astig ^_^

Sorry, feel na feel ko talaga ang pagka-champion. Hehe. 'Di kasi puedeng magyabang sa office, kelangan pa-humble effect :P Kaya dito sa blog ako mag-aangas (and kala mo naman talaga nakacontribute ng points eh hahahahha).

Nga pala, we wore the men's jerseys during the first half of the game. Wala lang. Parang pampatawa lang sa kabilang team. Just to make them feel na hindi kami seryoso, for fun lang kami. Weheheh.

If winning was fun, the celebration was fun-ner! Laughter, guffaws, secrets and vices were the highlights of our dinner at Hot Rocks and our drinks at Nineteen20. We promised na walang magli-leave the next day -- kahit na around 12am-1am na kami nakauwi. Hehe. [Pero bagsak ang team cap Joy namin -- pumasok nga ng umaga ng Friday pero umuwi na nung lunch dahil sa migraine. Hehe.]

Ang saya lang. Ganito pala feeling ng nanalo na kasama ka sa team na nanalo. Salamat kay Lowy at "pinilit" nya ako magbasketball nung nagstart ang season. ^_^

Salamat rin sa ibang team mates for teaching me to play basketball!
